summer wish list

summer is so close i can taste it. just four finals stand between me and countless days of pure bliss. my sunny, clear sky days are spent poolside with a drink in my hand. the feel of the sweet sunshine on my skin gives me an overwhelming feel of happiness -- needless to say, i am definitely a summer girl. it's also safe to say that a new summer means a shopping spree is in the near future. here are a few of the things on my wish list plus the basic essentials. what's on your summer want list?

happy hump day! it is GORGEOUS outside today, in the 70's! the start of warmer weather always puts me in a good mood and this song just puts me in an even better one, plus the video is pretty cool too. hope it helps getting you through the rest of the week!

initial obsession

the weekend was a wet and muggy one so i opted to stay inside and do what i know best, pin! of course, every girl has an uncovered love for pinterest and it has come to be a daily activity for all. these days i get on Pinterest more than i get on facebook. anyways, in the midst of my pinning, i realized something about my self, i might, juuuust might, have a small obsession with my initials. i found myself being attracted to any craft, piece of jewelry, etc. with a monogram or single letter on it. my suspicion came to realization as i looked around my loft and noticed all of my initial/monogram baubles. okay, my obsession might not be so little.

this week has been extremely long and busy and i am excited to say that it is finally over. now it is time to just sit back and relax. i cannot think of any better way to do this than to have a threesome with my couch and my t.v. with valentines day being just a few days ago, love is still in the air. the classic love story that is going to be playing on my telly tonight is titanic, staring the native brit, kate winslet, and the always handsome, leonardo dicaprio. this is an epic movie and makes every girl end in tears and saying, “don’t let go rose!” happy weekend!
