dream kitchen

i've been on pinterest for quite a while now. going back and looking at some of my first pins, "wtf" comes to mind a lot. like a lot. but i give credit to pinterest for allowing me to find out my true style. at first i was just pinning rand-o things but as i continued to browse, i noticed a trend in my pins. now going through my boards, it's pretty obvious the things i like. i'm more of a bright and clean than a dark and cozy kind of gal. all white everythang (walls, cabinets, backslash) achieves just the look i'm going for. throw in some butcher block and i'm sold. but no more talking. just take a look and.. swoooooon.

diy // easter eggs

easter is just around the corner. literally.. easter is only 3 days away. i'll be headed to spend some quality time with my family at the ranch. every year we dye eggs but it gets a little repetitive and the past few years it seems like the excitement over creating fun easter eggs has dwindled away. being a holiday fanatic, i'm determined to keep the tradition alive. this year, i won't be dying the eggs. instead, i will be using a paint pen.. pictures to come! as for now, here are some ideas that you can use to spruce up your easter eggs!

words to live by

albert einstein said ,"anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new." we all go through set backs when trying to accomplish things but they should't stop us from achieving our dreams. instead, embrace and learn from the mistakes.
